Let’s face it: Pilobolus is about sex. Ripped, writhing dancers wearing scarcely any clothing, dancing to Talking Heads, Benny Goodman, the Kronos Quartet and Miles Davis. You think you’re there for the dance, but c’mon. We’ve been on their trail for years, and there’s no greater joy than seeing “Day Two,” their signature piece directed by Moses Pendleton, for the umpteenth time. Unless it’s watching the whimsical “Rushes,” which captures the style and cockeyed humor of Tim Burton. Or “Symbiosis,” the sexy pas de Deux performed by 6’6” Jacob Michael Warren and Heather Favoretto. Glorious evening. If you don’t walk out of the Joyce needing a cold shower, you’re doing it wrong.
